The Calitzdorp Winter Festival is a celebration of the authentic heart of the Klein Karoo.
Set in quaint Calitzdorp, this festival offers everyone the chance to experience true Klein Karoo hospitality. Traditional foods, exceptional wines, local arts and crafts, a first of a kind mountain biking race as well as multiple musical offerings, make up some of the festival programme for 2017.
This year the festival takes place over the long weekend of the 16th – 18th of June 2017. While the Calitzdorp Railway Station will serve as the official town festival venue, the rest of Calitzdorp will be offering up something unique to meet every taste and preference. Entrance to the Calitzdorp Railway Station is free throughout the weekend, while some other premier events will be asking a nominal fee.
