The Union Stars Cricket Club from Oudtshoorn will carry the flag of South Western Districts Cricket at the Momentum Cricket South Africa National Club Championships that will be hosted in Pretoria over the period 22-26 April 2015.
The SWD Premier League champions will be determined to improve on previous performances during this challenging event. According to Mr Pat Sambo, an Executive Committee member of the club, a lot of hard work was put into preparations to ensure that they cover all their bases.
With eleven out of fourteen players that played provincial first class cricket their supporters will expect good performances from the Oudtshoorn based team.
The squad for the tournament are:
Pieter Stuurman (captain), Leroi Bredenkamp, Waldo Lategan, Brendon Louw, Douglas Baartman, Geoffrey Pêrel, Marcello Piedt, Otneill Baartman, Glenton Stuurman, André Olivier, Justin Jordaan, Merlin Masimela, Crizendo Maksella and Regan Booysen.
