Pictured below is a very old oil painting of Oudtshoorn, painted during the Anglo Boer War showing the original farmhouse around which Oudtshoorn was built.
The painting is in mint condition and has been in our family for more than 100 years. It was given to my grandmother as a wedding present by the artist, a Major in the British Army.
