Ladismith win first trophy in 27 years

Ladismith Cricket Club, on Saturday, made history after they won their first trophy in 27 years when they were crowned the Six Gun Grill SWD Cricket Reserve league division 1 champions for the 2023/24 season.

The men from Ladismith (169/5) defeated Blanco (167 all out) by 5 wickets in the final that was contested at Langenhoven Gymnasium in Oudtshoorn.  The former SWD player, Erinn Ewerts with a fine all round performance – 59 with the bat and 4/43 with the ball was the hero for the newly crowned champions.
