So reageer luisteraars op Rasende Ryme tydens die RSG Kunstefees 2013. In 2016 slaan die produksie asems weg op Woordfees en Kalfiefees.
In die kontemporêre woord- en musiek produksie Rasende Ryme delf die veelsydige aktrise Elsabé Daneel en bekroonde musikus Wilken Calitz onder die oppervlak om ou en nuwe gedigte se inherente musikaliteit te ontgin.

Klanke word op die verhoog opgedis, opgeneem, verwerk, ge-“loop” en dan vermeng met voordrag om die verse tot op die been te ontgin. Hier ontmoet musiek tegnologie en woordkuns soos nog nooit van te vore nie.
Elsabé Daneel is a well known actress as well as TV presenter/director/producer. Since 1982 she received two Artes nominations and two Star Tonight nominations for her TV work.
Elsabé has been acting in numerous TV series (e.g. 7de Laan) and does radio and commercial work as well as dubbing. She worked as a German dialogue coach for an international commercial.
She produces drama productions for the national art festivals in which she also performs countrywide. She is currently working on her sixth South African movie.
She works as compère, adjudicator and public speaker. She presents poetry programs, delivers journalistic contributions for the press and regularly appears as guest on TV, radio and in the printed media.
As founder of Elsabé Daneel Productions she produces corporate and documentary videos for private clients and kykNET.
As communication and media strategist Elsabé presents Communication IQ, her popular workshops in Communication and Projection Skills in Stellenbosch as well as countrywide. Her diverse clients include corporate role players, TV and radio presenters, actors, public speakers, theologians, educators, students, academic personnel, politicians, medical personnel, and psychologists.
She trains students, lecturers and personnel of Stellenbosch University in communication and projection skills. In 2006 her private students in Media and Communication Studies won Best Overall Project and Best Editing in M-Net’s EDiT competition.
Elsabé worked as a personal assistant for Octha Diamonds in New York as well as for Daneel Diamond Manufacturers in Stellenbosch.
She is actively involved in community work. For many years she was a committee member of Die Burger Christmas Concert and as a board member of Boland College she received a Service Award. She is also the recipient of an Honorary Award from her alma mater, Hoërskool Jan van Riebeeck.
Wilken Calitz is a musician and author of Cape Town. He obtained the degree MMUS (cum laude) at Stellenbosch University in 2009, after which he performs full-time violin and guitar work as both soloist and as accompanist to various South African artists. In addition, he composes music for various drama productions, Lament in G (2009), Vaselinetjie (2015), Drif (2016), Kristalvlakte (2016) and play on the soundtrack of many internationally released films, namely My Hunter’s Heart (2010), Beauty (2012); Die Wonderwerker (2012); Rooted The documentary (2017). Among the short films of which he composed the soundtrack, Die Berggans het ’n Veer Laat Val (ATKV Movie Verses – 2016); Bronsgoen (ATKV Filmverse – 2017); Die leeftyd van ’n orgidee (Silverskerm festival – 2018).
In 2017 he obtained the MA Creative Writing (cum laude) degree at the University of Cape Town under the guidance of Etienne van Heerden. One of his Short stories was published in Nuwe Stories (NB Publishers) in 2012. His radio drama Veertig Dae achieved second place in 2012 RSG radio drama competition and his Stage Drama 2092 God van Klank wins Outsides Drama Productions at Woordfees 2013 and is nominated for six Fleur Du Cap theatre awards in 2015, including best new South African text. In 2016 he was nominated for another Fleur Du Cap for the soundtrack of Kristalvlakte. He is a member of Die Skynmaagde nominated in 2014 for two MK awards best new group and best African group.
