Bramon Wine Estate
Bramon Wine Estate was the first estate established in Plett in the year 2000. The family-run farm is 20km east of the centre of Plett, in The Crags. The farm has spectacular views of the Elephant Sanctuary and the Tsitsikamma Mountains. Their wines include Sauvignon Blanc, Methode Cap Classique, Pinot Noir and Rosé. The farm offers wine tasting, a restaurant and function venues. Stay at their self-catering accommodation Waterfall Cottage. The cottage is on the edge of Buffels Gorge, and offers aerial views of the vineyards and the nearby waterfall.
Kay & Monty Vineyards
Kay & Monty Vineyards is a 220 hectare farm that includes vineyards, a polo farm and their Country House. Offering views of the mountains in and around the Keurboom’s River Nature Reserve, the 5 hectare vineyard produces Sauvignon Blanc, Methode Cap Classique and a Red Blend. The luxury Rare Earth Country House accommodates up to 10 people, offering the ultimate private getaway for a family or group of friends. With accommodation on the estate, you can choose different activities from watching a polo match and hiking, to wine tasting and biking around the area.
Luka Wine Farm
Luka Wine Estate offers guests close-up views of the Knysna Elephant Park. The vineyard produces Sauvignon Blanc varieties, which have won numerous awards between 2011 and 2018. The farm is home to springbok and an array of birdlife. Their self-catering house located near the dam and surrounded by the vineyards includes four bedrooms and an entertainment/braai area, and is conveniently located close to hiking and cycling trails.
Packwood Wine and Country Estate
Packwood Wine and Country Estate sits between the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma mountains and offers wine and dairy products from the farm. It is close to mountains, forests and the ocean. Guests enjoy nature while sampling varieties of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Methode Cap Classique, Pinot Noir and Rosé. Stay on the farm in a self-catering cottage or the guest house. Up to six people can stay at a time, and enjoy a different activities in and around the estate. Wine and cheese tasting, walking and biking trails are close.
