Following on the success of SAASA (Monkeyland, Birds of Eden & Jukani) at the South African Lilizela Awards, they have been shortlisted for a World Responsible Tourism Award in the category of best animal welfare initiative!
This category serves to highlight those organisations or businesses with a progressive ethical approach to maintaining the dignity of animals in, or through, tourism.
To be shortlisted and highlighted on a global stage is a huge accolade for the South African Animal Sanctuary Alliance (SAASA) and they have been invited to the World Travel Market in London, where the winners will be announced on 5th November.
