KKNK 2012 (Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees) will take place from 30th March until 7th April 2012 in Oudtshoorn. Professor Laetitia van Dyk has been appointed CEO of the KKNK from 1st June 2011. Entries for productions for the 18th KKNK in 2012 have already closed, so the board will already be sifting through material to decide what will be on the program.
Irrespective of what is on the agenda the KKNK remains the iconic and definitive art festival inSouth Africa. Accommodation is always at a premium in Oudtshoorn and surrounding towns so it is best to book your accommodation well in advance and worry about what you will go and see when the final program is announced.
