On Friday, 5 October 2018, South African singing legend, Coenie De Villiers, will be enthralling the audience with hits from his 40-year career at the Bravo Lounge at Tsogo Sun’s Garden Route Casino.
Coenie’s first foray into the music industry was the release of a recording in 1978 that won a SARIE Award, along with widespread recognition for its originality. This was followed by 20 albums over the past four decades, which garnered three South African Music Awards and numerous other accolades, including the medal of honour by the South African Council of Arts and Sciences.
In addition to performing in Canada, England, Holland, Belgium and New Zealand, he has worked with the likes of Jonathan Butler, Hugh Masekela, Sibongile Khumalo, Gloria Bosman, David Kramer, Karen Zoid, Laurika Rauch and Kurt Darren.
“This will be the third time that we will be hosting Coenie and encourage fans to get their tickets soon because each time he performs here it’s a sold out event. His appearance is a reflection of our commitment to bringing the best in South African talent to the Garden Route and to giving our guests intimate experiences with these stars,” says Marketing Manager, Karen Johnstone.
Tickets are available from Garden Route Casino cashiers, Computicket, Shoprite and Checkers stores as well as online at www.gardenroutecasino.co.za at a cost of R150 per person, with discounts available for Rewards cardholders. Doors open at 18h30 and the show starts at 20h00.
The next event that guests can look forward to is Boktown, taking place the very next day on Saturday, 6 October 2018.
