SPECIAL MEMBERS MEETING – FEEDBACK
Thank you so much for your time, support and valuable input at our Special Members Meeting that was held at the Knysna Hollow on Tuesday 12 March 2019. We had a great turn out of 155 business and tourism stakeholders, expressing their views of the way forward. It was clear that all is in favour to move towards a “business chamber” with representative “industry pillars” of which tourism will have a very strong pillar. The board were tasked with the following:
- Get together with the various smaller business networks / circles in town and get their input, suggestions and advice to establish one business body with a strong voice. The process has commenced and we will be presenting you with an update at the 2019 AGM.
- Decide on three names and present to members for voting at the 2019 AGM.
- Co-opt business stakeholders onto the board to be ratified at the upcoming AGM and to get a nomination process in place for industry pillars.

Due to new processes being implemented, we are not able to issue an invoice until such time as we have received all member information. To assist in easing the process, we request that you indicate on the form whether you are a first time member (joining fee of R500 applies) or whether you were either a member of Knysna Tourism NPC or Knysna Accommodation Association.
We further request that you return the form to firstname.lastname@example.org together with proof of payment as indicated on the form. On receipt of your membership application and POP you will receive acknowledgement of receipt with a tax invoice for your records. As our financial year runs from 1 March 2019, the payment will be for the period of 1 March 2019 to 28 February 2020.
