MONTHLY ACCOUNTS delayed for March 2020

The public must please take note that due to the closure of printing companies (21-day lockdown as called by National Government) consumer accounts that would normally be posted on the first week of the month will now only be posted on 17th April 2020.

Residents who receive their service accounts via email, will not be affected.

Consumers are requested to pay the same amount on your service account as the February Statement. Municipal App subscribers will be able to access their statement amounts by the 27th of this month.
Please note NO interest will be levied for April 2020. Accounts can be paid via EFT, and other methods as listed below.

Furthermore please note that no meter readings will take place for the month of April and estimations will be utilized by the Finance Department. Meter readings can be emailed to George Municipality requests the public to phone in with queries, correspond via email where possible or use online services where available. OPENBARE KENNISGEWING: MAANDELIKE REKENINGE vertraag vir Maart 2020

Die publiek moet daarop let dat as gevolg van die sluiting van drukkers  (21 dae toesluit soos deur die nasionale regering genoem), verbruikersrekeninge wat normaalweg  die eertse week van die maand gepos sal word, nou eers op 17de April 2020 uitgestuur  sal word.

Inwoners wat hul diensrekeninge per e-pos ontvang, sal nie hierdeur geraak word nie.

Verbruikers word versoek om dieselfde bedrag op u diensrekening  van Februarie te betaal. Die wat op die Munisipale app ingeteken is, sal teen die 27ste van hierdie maand toegang hê tot hul staat bedrag.  Let daarop dat GEEN rente vir April 2020 gehef sal word nie. Rekeninge kan via EFT en ander metodes soos hieronder gelys, betaal word.

Let ook daarop dat daar geen meterlesings vir April sal plaasvind nie en dat beramings deur die Departement Finansies gebruik sal word.
