Single-use PLASTICS SUCK!!! Plastics pose a major threat to us and our planet, with 8 million metric tons entering our ocean each year. It is projected that by 2050 we will have more plastic in our oceans than fish.
These products have many health risks to humans and animals alike and the environment we live in as a whole. A product that carried progress and convenience has drifted its way to every corner of our lives at a cost that is too exorbitant to sustain. As a global community, we need to make a choice today: Planet or Plastic?
It is time to become an ambassador for a zero waste Plett. Join Renew Able Plett and NVT this World Environment Day, for a workshop on best waste practices. Facilitated by Rhian Berning, the workshop will cover: reasons for reducing single-use plastic and waste, alternatives to plastic and outline the RAP campaign. We will discuss and share best practices, over a light meal (free of charge).
Come and join us as we introduce and celebrate, good waste practices and plastic free ambassador businesses for Plett. The first 20 Renew Able Plett ambassador businesses will be announced and awarded with their ambassador stickers.
5TH OF JUNE 2018 at LE FOURNIL DE PLETT, 10:00 AM TO 12:00 PM. This workshop is FREE OF CHARGE. Preference will be given to the first 40 who RSVP. So, hurry and book your spot for this momentous occasion. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 044 5316820.
