Italtile on Wednesday confirmed its CEO Gian-Paolo Ravazzotti died in a plane crash in the Southern Cape along with eight of his colleagues and business partners.
The company said the bodies of all of the passengers were found and expressed its heartfelt condolences to the families of those who died.
A police helicopter circled the area where the plane crashed into the sea off Plettenberg Bay late on Tuesday afternoon.
The plane carried nine passengers, which included two pilots and seven executives from the company.
Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said it was still trying to establish the cause of the crash.
Pieces of the fuselage started washing up on the beach after midday. An extensive ground and sea search is still being conducted with 53 members of various emergency services taking part.
Pieces of the wreckage are being taken to the NSRI office in Plettenberg Bay, where the CAA will take over.
The mist in the area started clearing, making the difficult search over quite a vast area somewhat easier.
