Just 12 days to go before the 3rd edition of the Oudtshoorn event! Our Local Organising Committee once again met today and we’re all very excited for the meeting to start. I could sense the motivation and feel the passion of our organising team to present a meeting of the highest possible standard – what a lekker feeling to experience.
In order for things to go smoothly we would like you to please take note of the following :
Late entries caused a lot of administrative problems in the past and to minimise this we’ve decided to only take pre-entries for this year.
· Entries for the Main Program closes on 12 December at 15h00 at the track
· Entries for the Junior Program closes on Thursday 8 December at 18h00
We urge you to please enter as soon as possible as some events are almost full and we’ll hate to inform someone that they can’t compete. Entries are for free but remember to bring along your ASA registration number. If you don’t have your ASA number you’ll have to buy a TEMP license number at R20. More info on how to enter etc can be found on our website www.oudtshoorn.org.za
We have free sponsored accommodation available at two school hostels (Huis Soetje and Pinehurst) for the night of the 12th of December. Beds are limited. Please note that you must bring your own bedding if you stay at the school hostels. There’s also other ‘grander’ options available – these places are limited though. More info can also be found on our website under the ACCOMMODATION page . Please support the accommodation places listed there as these establishments are all sponsors to our meeting.
3. PRIZE MONEY
Fifty percent of our total operating budget has been allocated towards prize money. Unfortunately this is still not enough. More info on PRIZE MONEY can be found on our website. We reserve the right to adjust prize money according to the availability of sponsorships.
