Compliance security training held at Port of Mossel Bay

The Port of Mossel Bay Security Department held a compliance security training session in collaboration with the Norwegian Government from 21 to 24 May.

The training falls in line with the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS), which outlines best practices for port security and crime management. The training, which was sponsored by The Norwegian government, aimed to further equip port security officials with skills on identifying and arresting individuals suspected to be involved in crimes such as human trafficking and drug smuggling at SA ports.
