Fragrance Fest on Saturday 9 March

This is the one day every year when all venues on the scenic Fragrance Route open their doors – an ideal outing for families, friends and groups! A variety of stops can be visited, all situated on or close to this circular country meander halfway between Mossel Bay and George.

Travel at leisure while enjoying vistas of fynbos-covered countryside and majestic mountains – great for game spotting, bird watching and photography. You can also cycle or visit by motorbike.

Since the first launch in 2015 this unique little Fest has become a firm favourite among locals. Come and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, countryside ambience, fresh air, wildlife spotting “Hap & Stap” walk, food stalls, and art and craft. This year there will be ten stops to visit – check the different opening times of each venue, and plan your trip accordingly!

Due to roadworks there will be one “stop and go” right at the start of the Fragrance Route, corner Amy Searle and Sorgfontein Road – also the entrance to Hilltop Farm Stall and the Kobus Halliday Car Museum. All efforts will be made to make the waiting time here as short as possible.
