A team of locals has launched a free quarterly publication for visitors to Greater Knysna.
Knysna Times is a visitor’s guide to local events, attractions, activities, restaurants and more. It’s the low-down on what’s hot and happening in South Africa’s favourite town with features on food and wine, Knysna’s adventure playground, arts and culture, and loads of interesting snippets about what’s new, where to go and what to do, whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple or with your family and friends.
The inaugural 44-page, full colour, glossy summer issue (December 2019 – February 2020) is being distributed through the Knysna and Sedgefield tourism offices, Visit Knysna and Visit Sedgefield, and through accommodation establishments, property agents, restaurants and other tourism attractions and outlets in the area.
Four editions of Knysna Times will be published annually: Summer (December – February); Autumn (March – May); Winter (June – August); and Spring (September – November).
The team behind the magazine is: Lorna MacLeod (publisher); Jeannine Orzechowski (editor); Cindy Wilson-Trollip (sub-editor); Alice Evans (designer); and Kirten MacMillan (marketing).
