Thembalethu High – Small things can make a difference!

Thembalethu High will participate in the senior school division of the George Municipal “World of Tomorrow Festival” on the 1 August and will be performing their play set in a family home during loadshedding.

The play explores how your family can save on electricity and how small things such as sharing a bath –  can make a difference.

The secondary schools will perform on 1st August at George Arts Theatre in the festival which has been launched as a drama competition for 2019. They will be competing against fellow drama groups from George High, McKinley Reid International School and Rundle College. An independent judging panel has been put in place constituting energy experts and drama experts and floating trophies as well as prizes will be awarded to the schools and those outstanding students, with each participant receiving a Certificate of Attendance.
