At last …… the Gardens will be locked and unlocked at official times!
Due to the lack of adequate security, and even with a disclaimer to the contrary, for many years the Botanical Garden has been accessible 24 hours a day. This allowed for illicit activity such as drinking, drug use, vandalism, and even harsher crimes to occur, especially at night time.
Now, the Garden has been fenced at considerable cost, and the Management is in a position to protect the facility by locking it at night time.
THE OFFICIAL PUBLIC VISITING HOURS WILL BE:
November – February …….. 07h00 – 19h00
March – April ………….. 07h00 – 18h00
May – August …………… 08h00 – 17h00
September – October …….. 07h00 – 18h00
For more information on this please call Kristen on 044 874 1558 or email email@example.com.
